Changing Lives Through Unchanging Values

From its inception, Anderson Christian School has maintained a focus on training children to understand and live according to the principles taught by Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible. Those who founded and those who presently continue the operation of the school believe that these principles - many of which formed the foundation of our nation - produce in those who live by them peace, joy, happiness, freedom, fulfillment, and a sense of their own personal value and worth. In everything it does, it is the goal of Anderson Christian School to honor the God who created the universe and everything in it.
Anderson Christian School offers 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day preschool classes, half-day and full-day kindergarten, a full elementary school program which serves students in grades 1-5, and a middle school program to serve students in grades 6-8. The ACS Child Care Ministry makes available both before and after school care for students as well as full and part time child care classes for children ages 3-5. Because it now serves the educational needs of children from infancy to the time when they are prepared to enter high school, ACS will be able to assist parents in the training of their children through all their children's most formative years.
Bible, Physical Education, Art, and Computer classes are all part of the curriculum offered at Anderson Christian School. As part of their elective courses middle school students may choose from Art, Woodshop, Home Economics, Creative Writing, Computer, Journalism, and Foreign Language classes. Extracurricular activities are also an important part of the ACS experience. These activities include band, choir, and sports. Both boys and girls may choose to participate in intramural golf, bowling, soccer, and basketball. Students in grades 4-8 may also participate on interscholastic soccer and basketball teams.
Anderson Christian School welcomes you to discover how the school serves the Anderson community in general and how it can serve you and meet your specific needs. You may also contact the school to arrange a visit and a tour of our campus, which is located in the facilities of the Lindberg Road Church of Christ.
